Almost Autumn!

The first day of autumn is this Thursday, and that means we are entering a season of warm and cozy family time, change, and quiet reflection as we near the end of the year.

In addition to the excitement of Halloween and the many fun activities that come with the holiday, fall offers a multitude of other activties and opportunities for quality family time.

Some fun, family-friendly seasonal activities include:

-Pumpkin patches

-Corn mazes

-Fall movie nights

-Fall baking

-Seasonal crafts

-Local fall festivals

-Haunted houses for teens

The link below has some great movies for fall! Common Sense Media is one of my favorite websites that I use with families. It is a great way to review what your kids want to watch or play when using tv or gaming devices.

While you and your family enjoy some of these fun autumn activities, fall is also a great time to reflect on the year so far. With only three months left in 2022, consider the ups and downs of the past year.

What challenges did this year bring?

What is your favorite memory from this year so far?

What would you like to change or work on in 2023?

What are some goals you would still like to accomplish this year?

In what ways do you think you have grown as a person this year?

This fall, make time to cherish the beauty of the season and make the most of your autumn!
