ANASTASIA ARAUZ

Education & Career

Anastasia graduated from Appalachian State University with a degree in Elementary Education in 1996. From there she went on to earn a Master of Arts degree in Counseling at North Carolina Central University in May of 2003.
Anastasia completed a Post Master Certificate from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in Couples and Family Counseling in 2009.  

Anastasia's work experience includes 5 years as a middle school teacher and 9 years as an elementary school counselor.

In 2014, she earned a certification in play therapy and became a Registered Play Therapist (RPT). Anastasia also served on the Board of North Carolina Association of Play Therapy, 2013-2020. 


From 2019-2023 Anastasia built her own private practice working with children and families in Jacksonville, NC. 

In 2022, Anastasia began coaching and partnering with moms and parents to help them learn how to create a healthy mindset around building a balanced family system.
